No more double confusing loops as in the past! This year we'll be holding our GCA TrailBlazer 5k on 3.1 miles of the Bright Hope Trail located at the Bright Hope Horse Center directly across the street from the main entrance to Pocahontas State Park.
This is a beautiful, well-groomed mature trail, meandering throughout some of the most scenic views of the park. There is ample parking and bathroom facilities and picnic tables are available.
So, come on out, get your Green on, and enjoy St. Patrick's Day with us, enjoy this beautiful park! We'll have vendors, face painting, a fire truck, Nutzy will be making a guest appearance, all the while helping to raise funds for much needed athletic equipment for Guardian Christian Academy.
