I would like to congratulate all those who participated in the Shamrock Sportsfest. We had runners from TCRR in all three events (8K, Half-Marathon, and Marathon). Judi Faye - you are right on target. Ft Lee is now "easy" access as long as you have a valid driver's license - no need to stop by the visitor's station or receive a visitor's pass. The gate guards will normally scan your license and entry is granted - you are also correct, as in line with Virginia law, you must have proof of insurance and vehicle registration if requested.

OK runners no excuses for not making the Saturday fun runs. Effective October 1st Fort Lee only requires a valid drivers license to get through the gate! Of course, you should still carry your insurance card and registration in case you are stop of any reason, but they only scan your license and your on your way. See you at the corner of "A" Avenue and Mahone!
